City Up To Seventh

Coventry City are up to seventh in the Championship table after a 3-1 win at Stoke City.

Watford still lead the table despite losing 3-0 at home to West Brom. City's next opponents Queens Park Rangers moved out of the bottom three with a 2-0 win over Hull City in front of new manager Luigi Di Canio.

Former Sky Blue Jonnie Jackson scored for Colchester to deny Leicester a win in the Sky game and Jay Bothroyd netted for Wolves against Bristol City.

There were wins for Barnsley,Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton whilst the other games were drawn.

In the Premier League, Lee Carsley scored for Everton in a 3-1 win at home to Birmingham City.

In League One, Leeds lost for the first time this season in a league game. Dennis Wise's side lost 3-1 at Carlisle United. Bas Savage scored fro Brighton in a 3-1 win over Luton

In League Two, Colin Cameron equalised for MK Dons in a 1-1 draw at Wycombe. Former City loanee Lloyd Dyer was sent off in the 58th minute.
Trevor Benjamin continues to score for Hereford. The striker was again on target in a 5-1 win against Darlington.

Graham Barrett scored for Falkirk in a 2-0 win over Gretna.
