City Up To Fourteenth

Coventry City are up to fourteenth in the League One table after their 3-1 win over Leyton Orient.

Steven Pressley's side are eight points off the play-off and five off a place in the relegation zone with 33 matches left to play.

Leyton Orient stay top despite their defeat as second placed Peterborough drew 0-0 with fourth from bottom Sheffield United at London Road.

Third placed Wolves beat Oldham 2-0 at Molineux, whilst Preston are fourth after a 2-2 draw at home to fifth placed Bradford City.

Walsall, whom the Sky Blues play on Saturday, moved into the final play-off spot with a 3-1 win at Swindon Town.

At the other end of the table, bottom side Bristol City were beaten 2-1 by Brentford, second from bottom Notts County lost 2-1 at Gillingham, third from bottom Tranmere drew 1-1 at Rotherham.

Elsewhere, Port Vale won 3-0 at Crawley, Carlisle won 1-0 at MK Dons and Shrewsbury drew 1-1 with Colchester.
