City Up To Fourteenth

Coventry City's 2-1 win at Charlton Athletic has lifted them to fourteenth in the Championship table.

Charlton remain bottom by a single goal after Nottingham Forest werw beaten 1-0 at home by Sheffield United.

Third bottom Doncaster lost 1-0 at Preston. At the other end of the table. Wolves beat Derby County 3-0 with second placed Birmingham City winning 1-0 at Plymouth thanks to a goal from former Sky Blue Lee Carsley.

Another former Sky Blue Jay Bothroyd scored for Cardiff in a 2-2 at Burnley.

Locally, Rugby Town were held at home 3-3 by Brackley Town. Klodinski added to his hat-trick on Saturday with a brace.

Southern League Midland Division leaders Leamington came from behind to beat Bury Town. In front of a crowd of 380, Husband and Blake netted for the Brakes after Reed had given Bury a 17th minute lead.

Nuneaton's game at Chasetown was postponed.

A 13th minute goal from Jozsef Jakab gave Stratford Town a 1-0 win in an FA Vase Third Round Replay at fellow Midland Alliance side Westfields.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Massey Ferguson were beaten 2-0 at Loughborough Uni.
