City Up To 15th

Coventry City are up to 15th in the Championship table following their 1-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday.

Wolves remain six points clear at the top after a 2-0 win against Blackpool. Birmingham beat Swansea 3-2 last night in South Wales to stay second.

Reading remain third despite losing to Southampton 2-1 and head an unchanged top six.

Plymouth, who beat City 1-0 last week are up to seventh after a 2-1 victory against Cardiff.

Nottingham Forest remain bottom aftee a 2-1 home defeat by Norwich City.

Charlton are now in the bottom three after being beaten 5-2 at home by Sheffield United. Watford vacate that position after beating 3-0 the Tim Flowers less QPR.

Elsewhere,Dele Adebola scored for Bristol City in a 4-2 defeat at Crystal Palace.

In League One, the pressure continues on Micky Adams with a 1-0 home defeat for Brighton by Huddersfield. Kevin Thornton was booked in the match.

Lee Hughes hit the winner for Oldham at Southend, whislt Baz Savage was booked for Tranmere in a defeat at Yeovil.

Locally, Rugby Town lost 3-1 at home to Gloucester City. In the Midland Division, Atherstone remain top by a point after a 4-1 win at Bedworth United.

In front of 345 strong crowd, King put the Greenbacks ahead in the ninth minute, only for Jimmy Ginnelly's side to hit backin a fifteen miute spell through Hood, Greenway,Storer and former Sphinx and Bedworth defender James Mace.

Leamington are still unbeaten but have a game in hand of Atherstone after beatng bottom side Woodford United 2-0 thanks to second half goals from Bellingham and Saunders.

Nuneaton stay third after beating Soham Rangers 2-0 with goals from Foster and Marsden in front of a 665 crowd which was the biggest in the division.

In the Midland Alliance, Racing Club Warwick were beaten 2-0 at Boldmere St Michaels, who are third two points behind Sphinx and four points behind leaders Market Drayton who lost 3-0 at Barwell with former Sky Blue Gary McPhee scoring for Marcus Law and Lee Knibbs side.
 
In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood snatched a point at Heather with an 81st minute Midldeton goal.

Two goals from Jones gave Southam a 2-1 win against Meir KA and Nuneaton Griff beat Coton Green 2-1. Massey Ferguson lost 2-0 at home to Brocton.

In Division Three, Coventry Amateurs drew 2-2 with Chelmsley Town Reserves.
