City Up A Place

Coventry City are up to third from bottom in the Championship table after picking up their fourth away point of the season in the 0-0 draw at Watford.

City moved up a place due to Doncaster Rovers being beaten 2-1 at home by Derby County and the Sky Blues having the better goal difference.

Coventry are now four points beind Bristol City who drew 0-0 at bottom side Portsmouth.

20th placed Nottingham Forest had their away game at Leicester postponed due to the Foxes FA Cup tie at Chelsea tomorrow.

19th placed Millwall were beaten 3-2 at home to Southampton who went back to the top of the table.

Peterborough, who are being dragged into the relegation battle lost 3-2 at Ipswich Town, whilst 17th placed Barnsley were beaten 4-0 at home by Reading who have moved up to second after West Ham could only manage a 1-1 draw at Leeds United.

Former City forward Marlon King scored for fourth placed Birmingham City in a 3-0 win over Middlesbrough, whilst Coventry born Ian Evatt scored for Blackpool in a 3-1 win over Brighton.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace drew 0-0 with Hull City.
