City U21 Team Boss Quits

Coventry City U21 (development) team manager Ian Foster has left the club by mutual consent.

Foster, a former Kidderminster player and manager of Galway, joined the Sky Blues and eventually replaced Lee Carsley as boss of the U21's.

The Scouser and Lancashire Cricket supporter was in charge of an U21 side which with the emphasis on bringing on players rather than winning matches, which finished bottom of the U21 League City entered last season.

However, today, he has reached an agreement with the club and his contract has been cancelled.
