Coventry City U18'S beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 in their final pre-season game. 

City took the lead at the Alan Higgs Centre when Antonie Boland played a ball back past his own keeper and into the net.

On the stroke of half-time, Lewis Garner rifled in a long ranger to put Greg Rioch's side further ahead. 

Blackburn were awarded a penalty in the second half which was saved and they pulled one back through Jordan Preston with ten minutes to go.

The visitors had a goal ruled out late on for offside as City, who start their Academy League with a trip to Sheffield United next Saturday, ran out 2-1 winners
