Coventry City are trying to sign Danny Seaborne from Yeovil Town.
The defender whose loan at City ended when he had a calf injury and was suspended for an off the ball elbow on Jonson Clarke-Harris in the 1-1 draw against Oldham, is seen by the Sky Blues as ideal for their centre half situation,
Speaking to Nick Connoll, City manager Steven Pressley confirmed that Steve Waggott was on the case and said: "Steve Waggott is speaking to Dan Seaborne's respresentatives today and I'm hoping that the outcome is very, very positive.
"I've not heard back as of yet but I'm hoping that a positive outcome can come out of that and then hopefully we can speak to Yeovil so that everything can go through."
