City To Travel With Bare Eighteen

With Marvin Sordell and Andy Rose out injured, Coventry City will travel to Bradford City with a bare eighteen players.

Speaking about the trip to Bradford City, Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray said to the Coventry Telegraph: "You need to run the options we’ve now got against the injuries we picked up. There was a game last night at Elland Road. So we’ve used every footballer we’ve got over the past few days.

“We are only taking 18 tomorrow because that’s all we’ve got. Andy Rose is waiting for swelling to go down and is on the injury list, and tomorrow will come too soon for Sordell even if he is on the grass at the minute.

“You need to go to Bradford and stand up to them. They’ve got a different manager, so we will see if they’ve got a different style. They’ve invested well in the squad, and their support base demands performances so hopefully we can go there and stick a chance away.

“Bradford will be full of confidence - the MK Dons win was a tight match with tight margins, but it’s too early for anybody to say “good start” or “bad start”.”
