Coventry City have announced that they will enter this season's Birmingham Senior Cup.

City have not entered a team in the competition since the mid 1990's prefering along with Aston Villa to pay a £3,000 fine to the County FA instead.
The Sky Blues, who twice reached the Semi-Final in the 1990's losing to Redditch United and Burton Albion, will use the competition as match practice for their reserve team who are not entering a league this season.

City's FA Academy U18 League season starts on Saturday August 19th.
