A brand new sports bar is coming to the Ricoh Arena, exclusively for use by City's season ticket holders.
The £180,000 development situated between the Tesco Stand and Jewson Stand (on a redeveloped section of the concourse directly underneath the scoreboard) will offer season ticket holders large screen Sky TV, food offers and exclusive early access on match days.
With completion due over the next few months, on a normal matchday, the bar will open from 12 noon until 6.30pm, closing for just 10 minutes after the final whistle while the stand is emptied and the bar is cleaned. Up to 800 season ticket holders will gain access on a first come - first serve basis.
The name and interior décor of the bar are yet to be decided. Coventry City's Senior Management Team have decided that, instead of offering the space and name to a sponsor, the bar will be named by a committee of supporters chaired by life long city fan Lionel Bird.
