Coventry City could field a changed team from the one which won against Wigan Athletic on Saturday for the League Cup First One tie at Rochdale tomorrow night (7.45pm kick off).

City have been told that they cannot play two goal hero Adam Armstrong who is on loan until January from Newcastle United and will likely have George Thomas in as his replacement.

Jordan Willis had to go off at half-time of the win against Wigan due to a bang on the head and Aaron Phillips who replaced him for the second half could keep his place.

Tony Mowbray could also give Reice Charles-Cook an outing in goal, replacing Lee Burge. Charles-Cook did well in his outings in pre-season and has stated that he wants more first team games.

Mowbray could also rest Reda Johnson so that he is fit for Saturday's trip to Millwall and bring in Arron Martin to cover him.
