Coventry City are to launch a 300 club for the former shareholders of the now dissolved Coventry City Football Club (Holdings).

The club are hoping to launch this club for shareholders who were forced and in some cases under duress, to hand over their shares in CCFC (Holdings) to SISU.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Mark Hornby, marketing executive at CCFC, said: “We have had contact from shareholders who said they would like to have a certificate and we totally understand why that is important to them.

“Many of these supporters have been part of Coventry City for a very long time and we hope the 300 Club keeps them as part of the club going forward.”

According to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, The 300 Club will offer a number of benefits to former shareholders including reduced ticket prices and merchandise, priority on cup tickets and a certificate of acknowledgment.
