City To Have A Jimmy Hill Day

Coventry City and Sky Blues In The Community have announced that the home game against Luton Town on Saturday December 15th will be "Jimmy Hill Day"

The Sky Blues have said: "The day has been organised to recognise the achievements of the club’s legendary Manager and Chairman, who died on 19th December 2015, and raise money for the charitable fund run in his honour – the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"The match will be held each year on the home game closest to the day that Jimmy sadly passed away – and this year will be held when the Sky Blues face Luton Town at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday 15th December.

"Members of Jimmy’s family will be invited attend the game as guests of the club, as will stars of the 60s who were managed by JH.

"There will be special content in the matchday programme and on the scoreboard, while there will be a bucket collection in aid of the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund too."
