City To Go Back In For McSheffrey

Coventry City are expected to attempt again to bring Gary McSheffrey back to the Ricoh Arena on loan.

City had failed in an attempt on transfer dead-line day after Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish out-priced the striker from the reaches of both the Sky Blues and Watford.

However, with the loan window reopening until the last Thursday in March, Iain Dowie, who off-loaded Kevin Kyle and Dele Adebola last week, is to try and bring in the 25 year old to give the team a boost and put a few more on the gate.

McSheffrey was sold to Birmingham for £2.325m in August 2006, so that the club could make an annual bank payment and avoid going into administration.
