City To Face Banbury

Coventry City have agreed to send a side to play Banbury United on Monday July 24th at 7.45pm.

Coming a day after the friendly at Notts County, a reserve/youth side is expected to be fielded although the odd player with first team experience may get a run-out.

Banbury, who play in the Southern League Premier Division will charge adults £8,Oap's/students £3.50 and juniors £2 to get into the Spencer Stadium.

By Road:Leave the M40 at junction 11 and head for Banbury. At the first roundabout turn left. Continue to the next roundabout and turn right. Carry straight on until you reach a left turn for the station. Follow this road towards the station and take the track on the right just after the printers. Carry on down until you reach The Spencer Stadium.

By Train:
Head out of the main station exit towards town. At the end of the station forecourt/taxi rank area, take the track on the left which doubles back towards the station (but the other side of a fence) and keep going. The Spencer Stadium is at the end of this road.
