City To Appeal Over Football League Decision

Last updated : 10 June 2005 By Covsupport
Coventry City have confirmed they will appeal against the Football League decision not to let the Sky Blues play their first three league games of the season away from home.

The club are appealing on the grounds that in 1997, both Bolton and Stoke City were allowed to play their open trio of matches away from home due to the Reebok and the Britannia Stadium not being ready.

Any one wishing to add support to City's appeal can do so by emailing the Football League at fl@football-league.co.uk.
