Coventry City have said they will appeal against the decision to send off Carl Baker in the 3-2 defeat at Leyton Orient.

Baker, whose tackle was not reckless in any way, was sent off by referee Dean Whitestone, who showed the City captain a straight red card in the 55th minute of the game.

City have now said they are appealing the decision which will see Baker miss the 'home' game against Bristol City, the trip to Carlisle and the next 'home' game against Preston North End if upheld.
