According to figures released by the Home Office,Coventry are tenth in a table of banning orders.

The figures for last season show that there were 56 banning orders but only 32 arrests at City matches.

The banning orders come mainly from the Portsmouth game which saw thirteen Coventry supporters jailed for an incident totally the fault of the police and the City board and trouble against Leicester City as well as for incidents away from Highfield Road.

Cardiff City topped the table with Stoke City second and Portsmouth third.

If you take the arrests and banning in orders and divide by the number of people who attended City matches last season, then it is a very minute figure and shows how safe football grounds now are.
