Coventry City have signed David McGoldrick on loan from Nottingham Forest.
He joins on loan until January 2nd. 2013.
Coventry City development director Steve Waggott said to club journalist Keiran Crowley: “David has been a target for several weeks now but it looked, until today, like there was no possibility of bringing him here.
“When I was alerted that he might be available, I spoke to Richard Shaw and Lee Carsley, and we made the move and we have beaten several other clubs who were interested in him.
“He gives the club a very different option up front because he is quick and can get in behind defences so that will add to the manager’s options in attack.”
