City Supporters Were Tremendous Again - Robins

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has paid tribute to the City support at Stevenage on Boxing Day.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, the City boss said: “They were tremendous again – they played a massive part in keeping us going.

“Sometimes when you are pushing forward but the goal won’t come, supporters can get anxious and they might start demanding the ball be played up to man furthest forward.

“That’s not the way we play, we always want to pass the ball, and I think the fans appreciate that. The players never panicked and neither did the fans."
