City Supporters Waiting For Answers

Coventry City supporters were today, waiting to hear what the Sky Blues have to say about the latest crisis, the club has got itself into.

City supporters are used to the club drifting from one crisis to another over the years but in recent weeks, there have been board changes, manager dismissals and problems over finances with companies having to threaten court action in order to be paid, and now a transfer embargo which scuppered Marlon King and Clive Platt being loaned out for the rest of the season, all signs that the good ship Sky Blue, which is also involved in a relegation battle, thanks to only one win in eighteen matches, has smashed into another iceberg.

Granted there are many people employed by CCFC who will be wondering for how much longer they will have a job and they can only run on the club website exactly what they are told, but the silence from the club's owners has been deafening.

Do we need to be out with collection buckets at the Watford game rather than demanding the removal of the board who we need to bring in new investment rather than SISU upping and leaving forcing the club into liquidation which will mean the end of Coventry City FC.

Do we need to be encouraging season ticket renewal and match ticket purchases?

Supporters of other clubs have rallied round and saved their teams and I am sure we could do the same at Coventry City but no-one can do anything until we all know exactly what the situation actually is.
