Below are the meeting minutes from the first Coventry City Supporters Forum Meeting Minutes

 

Supporters Forum Meeting - Thursday January 25th 2018, 5:30pm, Boardroom, Ricoh Arena.

In attendance;  

Dave Boddy (CCFC), Mark Hornby (CCFC), Pat Raybould (Family Zone Volunteers), Ray Stephens (Diamond Club), Moz Baker (Sky Blue Trust), Colin Henderson (London Supporters Club), Jim Brown (Former Players Association), Andy Leavers (Leamington and Warwick Supporters Club), Nicki Pollard (CCFC).  

Apologies;  

Neil Beasley (CCFC LGBT Group), Dave Busst (Sky Blues in the Community), Kevin Heffernan (Irish Supporters Club)  

Minutes: 

Meeting started with DB welcoming all representatives to the group and spoke for the aims of the group.

The aims were discussed by members of the group, including their experiences regarding the topics covered by the aims, and the following were agreed -

1. To establish a forum for supporters to communicate directly with the club in a structured manner.

2. To help the club better understand the club issues that most effect and concern fans.

3. To give the club an opportunity to consult, explain the thinking behind key decisions and improve club transparency.

4. To enable fans to play a key role in helping the club achieve success on and off the pitch.

5. To support Coventry City Football Club and help improve it for the benefit of all supporters.

A discussion then took place regarding confidentiality. DB said he was happy to answer any questions, however there may be occasions where some items would be confidential and may need to stay within the room.

The constitution of the group was discussed including process for taking minutes - AL volunteered to take minutes at future meetings and it was agreed that minutes would provide an overview of meetings, rather than a transcript.

Agreed that meetings should not last more than 2hrs and early evening starts.

The election of supporter representatives was discussed. Agreed that representatives would be sought for Season Ticket holders (various ages), Corporate Season Ticket holders and Disabled Supporters.

The representation of each group and demographic makeup of the group would be discussed at an annual point.
