James Maddison has said that he ran to the Coventry City support after scoring to give the Sky Blues a point in the 1-1 draw at Chesterfield, as they were excellent.
"As for the goal, I wasn't letting anyone else take that. I practice my free-kick every day at Ryton so I always look for the top corner and it was a great moment, " Maddison who felt that City should have won, told Keiran Crowley.
"I went to the fans because they were excellent today. They've turned out in their numbers once again and they really were the 12th man for us."
