City Still Sixteenth

Coventry City remain in sixteenth place despite being beaten 2-0 at home by Crystal Palace.

West Brom are top of the table on goal difference after a 4-1 home win against Bristol City. Watford are second after drawing 2-2 at home to Cardiff City.

Stoke are third after a 3-3 draw at Barnsley thanks to a Liam Lawrence hat-trick. Bristol City are fourth with Charlton who drew 1-1 at Norwich fifth. Plymouth are up to sixth after beating QPR 2-1.

Leicester moved out of the bottom three with a win over City's next opponents Ipswich Town. Hull beat Wolves and Scunthorpe won at Preston.

Claus Jorgensen scored for Blackpool in a 1-1 draw at Sheffield United. Cov Kid Ian Evatt was sent off in the eighth minute.

There were draws at Burnley and Colchester.

Gary McSheffrey scored for Birmingham in a 3-0 win against Middlesbrough whislt Robbie Keane hit two for Spurs in a 5-1 against Fulham.
