City Still In 12th Place

Coventry City remain in 12th place in the League One table despite their 2-1 defeat at Colchester United.

City are six points off the fourth from bottom relegation spot which is occupied by Stevenage FC who beat Tranmere Rovers 3-1.

22nd place Crewe lost 4-2 at Peterborough United, whilst Shrewsbury who now have Andy Morrell in their backroom staff, were beaten 3-2 at home by Bristol City and bottom side Notts County who drew 0-0 with second placed Leyton Orient.

Leon Clarke was a 75th minute substitute for Wolves as they went two points clear at the top of the table thanks to a 3-0 win at Port Vale.

Brentford stay third after a 2-0 win over Bradford City and Preston stay fourth thanks to a 3-1 win at Oldham.

Elsewhere, Gillingham beat Crawley 1-0.
