City Stay In Ninth Place

Coventry City remain ninth in the League Two table despite their 2-0 home defeat to Accrington Stanley, who moved up to second in the table.

City have 50 points from 31 games and are two points behind seventh placed Exeter City who held 1-1 at home by Wycombe Wanderers who are third in the table with 56 points.

Leaders Luton Town are six points clear of Accrington after a 1-1 draw at Stevenage with Notts County in fourth place despite a 1-0 defeat at bottom side Barnet who are now four points from safety.

Fifth are Swindon Town who beat sixth placed Mansfield Town 1-0.

Elsewhere, Colchester United, whom the Sky Blues travel to on Tuesday night, drew 1-1 at Carlisle United, Crewe drew 0-0 with Yeovil, Cheltenham beat Port Vale 5-1 and Crawley Town beat Grimsby Town 3-0.
