City Sixteenth In The Table

Coventry City are sixteenth in the League One table after the season got underway with the first set of fixtures.

City are sixteenth after a late 3-2 defeat at Bradford City who have gone into fourth place.

Doncaster Rovers lead the table thanks to a 3-0 win at Yeovil Town and are ahead of MK Dons who beat Gillingham 4-2 and Swindon Town beat Scunthorpe United 3-1.

Bristol City are fifth after a 2-1 win at Sheffield United, with Chesterfield who won 2-1 at Leyton Orient in sixth place ahead of Fleetwood Town who won their first ever League One game with a 2-1 win over Crewe, Crawley Town who won 1-0 at Barnsley and Peterborough United who won 1-0 at Rochdale.

Three games were drawn with Colchester drawing 2-2 with Oldham, Port Vale drawing 1-1 with Walsall and Preston North End drawing 1-1 with Notts County.
