Coventry City have issued the following statement following the Facebook postings by Dale Evans.
There was hysteria amongst some sections of the support last night following Mr Evans comments which highlight the desperation of some for new owners for the Sky Blues and ending the tenure of Seppalla, Fisher, Boddy and co at the club which now languishes in the old Division 4.
The statement reads as follows:
"Contrary to claims made on social media overnight, Coventry City can confirm that there has been no contact by Mr Dale Evans (or any associate of his) with the club or the owners of the club.
The club’s position in regard to this situation remains as it was on Saturday."
