City Reserves In Posh Practice Draw

A Coventry City Reserve side drew 2-2 with Peterborough United Reserves this afternoon in a behind closed doors practice match.

City took the lead in the 25th minute with a Kevin Thornton penalty and were 2-0 up after 37 minutes through Dele Adebola.

Sagi Burton pulled one back before the break for the visitors and two minutes after the restart, a Wayne Purser shot looped in to earn the visitors a draw.

City Reserves next game is at home to Ipswich Town at Nuneaton Borough on Tuesday January 25th at 7pm with season ticket holders getting in free.
