Coventry City stay in thirteenth place in the League One table despite losing 2-1 at Sixfields to MK Dons.

City are six points off off the fourth relegation spot which is occupied by Crewe who won 2-1 at Crawley Town.

Shrewsbury moved off the bottom with a 1-0 win over Stevenage who are back bottom again with 39 points, a point behind Notts County who lost 3-1 at second placed Brentford.

The victory for the Bees did not close the gap to leaders Wolves, who are still six points clear after a 2-0 win at home to Peterborough United, who stay in sixth and are only three points clear of seventh place MK Dons.

Rotherham went third after a 4-3 win at Gillingham and Leyton Orient drawing 1-1 at Sheffield United, whilst fifth placed Preston drew 1-1 at Bristol City.

Swindon could have really closed the gap on Peterborough but lost 1-0 at Carlisle and Port Vale moved to within four points of Peterborough with a 1-0 win over Walsall.

Elsewhere, Oldham won 3-2 at Bradford City and Tranmere won 2-1 at Colchester United.
