Coventry City have rejected a bid for Leon Clarke.
Wolverhampton Wanderers made a cash offer to Clarke who has handed in a transfer request last night but City chiefs have confirmed to the Coventry Telegraph that the bid has been turned down due to not meeting their value of the player.
City may, it seems be willing to accept a player plus cash deal instead.
