Coventry City latest loanee Oliver Norwood has said that he is at a club which should be in the Premier League.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club’s weekly press conference, Norwood who has joined City for the rest of the season on loan from Manchester United and made his debut as a substitute against Ipswich said: "It's been great since I have joined and everyone has made me feel really welcome. I was at Scunthorpe at the start of the season and no disrespect to them but it's a much bigger club here.

"Before I came here, I knew it was a massive club and it wasn't too long ago that the club were in the Premier League.

"Obviously you see the stadium and the facilities; it's second to none really. The club, with the set-up it has here, probably does belong in the top flight to be honest.

"However, at the moment, our main aim has to be to stay in Championship and that is what all the squad are determined to do. It has to be the main aim for us now and we need to start picking up some points sooner rather than later."
