CITY PRESIDENT ON ROAD TO RECOVERY

Coventry City President Mike McGinnity is now in far better health.

The Birmingam based former City Chairman told Andy Turner from the CET: "I went through a difficult time earlier in the season when my health suffered a great deal.

"This was mainly due to the stress I was suffering which was brought about by trying to steer the club back into the right direction. It all got too much for me and I had to do something about it.

"I had four mini strokes and then a heart attack in December but now I can sit back and enjoy the football without all the worry.

"It is a pleasure to go to games and I sleep a lot better at night. My family are a lot happier that I am taking things easier and I feel a lot happier in myself,so life is good again.

"The nice thing is sitting back and seeing all the good things that are going on at Coventry City where the new management team have come in and started driving the club forward again."
