Coventry City players along with players from Coventry Rugby Club, and Coventry Jets American Football club will be involved in the annual switching on of the christmas lights in Coventry this Sunday.
The Town lights will be switched on Sunday in Broadgate and the honours will be done by Coventry born Actress Mellisa Walton and Lord Mayor Brian Kelsey.
Indie band The Hoosiers will be performing from the balcony of the Travelodge hotel in an event which will also see Coventry based filmaker Debbie Isitt and some of the young stars from her film Nativity, parts of which were shot in Coventry, performing songs as well as an appearance by Children's TV's Pingu the penguin.
