According to The People, Coventry City players have had their appearance bonuses cut by 75%.

Players were getting £1,000 per game every time they played in the Championship on top of their normal wages, however, now that is down to £250 per game, thanks to a new structure brought in by Tim Fisher.

The paper claims that the players were furious at the news and some had considered not signing the new agreements.

So far, only Jordan Clarke has been publically announced as signing a new contract under the new bonus terms.
