City Players Back Neo-natal Facilities

Coventry City players Lee Carsley and Sammy Clingan were at the University Hospital at Walsgrave in Coventry earlier this week to see the neo-natal facilities.

As first reported on this site, the University Hospital Baby Care Appeal is one of the Sky Blues charities of the year and the appeal is looking to raise £225,000 to improve the facilities and provide more life saving equipment for premature and young babies.

City skipper Lee Carsley told the CT: "The neonatal unit is such a fantastic facility and the staff do a great job at the site supporting parents. Its just they could with more resources to make parents more comfortable at such a difficult time."



Meanwhile, a number of the City first team squad are growing a moustache for cash and money rasisd from this will go towards Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
