Coventry City defender Arron Martin has donated one thousand pounds to the Children's Emergency Department at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire at Walsgrave in Coventry.
The UHCW Charity is looking to raise £40k so that they can create a beach scene in the Children's Emergency Department in an an attempt to make the hospital less imposing and scary for youngsters and Martin has donated £1,000 of his own money towards this.
The defender, who was one of twelve players who visited the hospital yesterday, told Keiran Crowley: "I've always enjoyed the hospital visit during my time at the club and when I visited last year, I felt like I should try and do more.
