City Out Of The Drop Zone

Coventry City are out of the League One drop zone after their 1-1 draw at Walsall.

The Sky Blues have 16 points from 15 games and a minus four goal difference which has moved them out of the bottom four and ahead of MK Dons in 20th place who lost 2-1 at fourth placed Sheffield United and Swindon Town who lost 4-1 at League One leaders Scunthorpe United.

Bottom side Shrewsbury Town who have eleven points, drew 1-1 at Southend whilst second from bottom Chesterfield lost 1-0 at Charlton Athletic and third from bottom Oldham lost their local derby 1-0 at sixth placed Rochdale.

Bolton had a 3-1 win over Port Vale to stay second whilst third placed Bradford City won 3-2 at AFC Wimbledon.

Northampton Town are up to fifth after a 3-2 home win against Bury with a 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers, lifting Peterborough United up to seventh.

Elsewhere, Millwall won 2-1 at Oxford in an early kick off and Fleetwood beat Gillingham 2-1.
