Coventry City are fifth from bottom of League One after David McGoldrick scored in the 62nd minute to give the Sky Blues a 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth.

The win was City's first league win at the Ricoh Arena since March and sees the Sky Blues now fifth from bottom on ten points, some nine points off the play-offs and fourteen points off automatic promotion.

Bottom side Bury lost 1-0 at home to Swindon whom City travel to next Saturday, second from bottom Hartlepool lost 2-1 at Crewe after taking the lead, whilst third from bottom Scunthorpe United lost 1-0 at second placed Stevenage.

The defeat against the Sky Blues now leaves manager-less Bournemouth in the bottom four.
