Two former Coventry City players have been announced as managers of the month for October.

Cardiff City's David Jones took the Championship award whilst Paul Trollope who made five starts for City in 2002 and is manager of Bristol Rovers took the League One Award.

Both managers cited enjoying their time away from football as a reason for success. Jones, who joined City in a deal with Gary Collier in the early 1980's, put his success down to a spot of horse riding with Trollope saying that focusing on his three daughters helped him.
