Former Coventry City midifelders George Boateng and Khalilou Fadiga played for a World X1 in a testimonial for Nwankwo Kanu which was held in Lagos, Nigeria.
They played against a Nigeria side in a 3-1 defeat with Kanu scoring the first goal for the Super Eagles.
Fadiga made six appearances for City's first team under Micky Adams whilst George Boateng, joined City from Feyenoord in 1998 and made 46 appearances scoring five times before joining Aston Villa. He now plays for Greek side Skoda Xanthi.
