A number of former Coventry City players played in the League Cup First Round tie between Carlisle United and Derby County on Monday night.
Steven Elliott was a 71st minute substitute for the Cumbrians whilst Cyrus Christie and Richard Keogh started for the Rams who gave Leon Best a run out for the last twenty minutes and kept John Eustace on the bench.
Derby won 2-0 in front of a crowd of 3,481.
