Former Coventry City loanee Dean Holdsworth has turned down the chance to manage Crawley Town.

Holdsworth, who is manager of League Two side Aldershot Town, had been on the wanted list of the League One new boys but decided against leaving the Recreation Ground after speaking to Crawley's Director Of Football Steve Coppell who is looking for a new manager after Sean O'Driscoll left for Nottingham Forest.
