Former Coventry City defender Gary Breen is expected to complete a move to Barnet.

The Irish international was released by Wolves at the end of last season and has lived in Barnet for many years.

If he completes a medical later today, he will join the League Two side as a player coach.

Former Coventry City keeper Chris Kirkland is attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur. Kirkland has impressed for Wigan Athletic in recent performances and Spurs are said to be looking at him to strengthen their side.

David Blenkinsopp is back at Nuneaton Town. The midfielder who came through City's Academy had been at Gresley Rovers,but left with the Derbyshire club in financial trouble.

John Aloisi has promised goals for Sydney FC. The former City striker has only scored once in eleven games but said: "I can understand people getting frustrated and critical, but everywhere I've been I've scored goals. "You don't just stop scoring as a goalscorer. You go through patches. "This is a bad patch. I'll get through it, hopefully sooner rather than later - hopefully next week and then it continues on to the finals."
