Former Coventry City forward Craig Bellamy has joined West Ham United in a £7.5m deal. The much depised serial court appearer sorted out his contractual obligations with Liverpool and has signed a deal worth over £70k a week at Upton Park. Former clubs for the Welshman include Newcastle from whom he joined City for the exact same fee that City paid for him,Celtic and Blackburn Rovers.

David Pipe has signed for Bristol Rovers. The former City youngster has been at Notts County since leaving the Sky Blues in January 2004 and joined The Gas in a £100,000 move. The Welshman will team up with Rovers boss Paul Trollope whom he played with at City.

Colin Healy will finally make his League Of Ireland debut for Cork City tonight. The midfielder who was popular during this time at Highfield Road,had been unable to play after appearing for three clubs last season but played in Cork's 1-1 Inter-Toto Cup draw with Swedish side Hammarby on Saturday and is in the squad for the game at Galway tonight.
