Former Coventry City Reserve Team Manager Gary Mills steered his York City team back into the Football League with a Conference Premier Play-Off Final victory over Luton Town this afternoon.

Former Hinckley United forward Andre Gray had put Luton ahead after eighty seconds at Wembley Stadium but in the 26th minute, York, who had been for a pint yesterday with their manager at Embankment, levelled through Ashley Chambers.

The second half was only 69 seconds old when former Bedworth United player and son of former Coventry City midfielder Andy, Matty Blair scored despite looking offside to see York make a return to the Football League next season in front of a crowd of 39,265.
