Joe Elliott remains as a suspended Life President of Coventry City Football Club.
Mr Elliott met City Board Members Tim Fisher and John Clarke a fortnight ago to discuss a possible return in an specified capacity.
Tim Fisher told the CT's Les Reid: " As reported, we did have a meeting with Joe Elliott who remains involved with the club and is Chair of The Sky Blues In The Community Trust. "Nothing has changed since then."
While, Joe Elliott who is one of a number of City supporters keen to meet Joy Seppala and hear her views for the club, said to Les Reid: "If and when they feel they want to talk to me that's fine. I haven't spoken to SISU.
"The situation is I am still Life President but I'm suspended. It is down to the football club to decide if and when I will be invited back to that role."
