Coventry City's owners need to submit plans for a new stadium stadium, according to minutes from a meeting with Rugby Borough Council obtained by the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert under the Freedom Of Information Act.

The Football League have insisted that City build a new stadium with eight miles of Earl Street in Coventry and if City don't submit their plans in time, it will be far harder to get planning permission on green belt land.
