City Need To Show Some Love And Pride

Coventry City should come out to "Love And Pride" by legendary Coventry band King, says Coventry's Music Historian Pete Chambers.

A poll on this site yesterday showed that new City boss Mark Robins was wrong to change the music City come out to "Chelsea Dagger" by the Fratellis and this has sparked debate both on-line and on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire,

Speaking to Covsupport News Service, Pete, a man cited as 'the Eighth Special' by Lynval Golding and an inspirational man who has done so much for the Coventry music scene in all its genres both currently and over the years, said: "With its "Get Your Boots On" lyric at the start, Love and Pride would be a great song for City to come out to."

His comments were echoed by a number of other supporters who have also called for the song to be played, according to emails received by us.
